Unique Conversations For Your Home

Each time these homeowners welcome guests, my doors offer a distinct glimpse into the home’s history—its wear and tear a testament to years of sheltering lives, painted onto a functional canvas capturing the shared experiences between house and inhabitant.

When I took on the Heaven On Gates project, none of the original old-growth redwood structure met current building codes. But rather than discard a century’s worth of patina and character, I saw an opportunity to transform it. That wood had sheltered generations—it deserved a second life.

This was the beginning of the “My Eye Marketing” strategy: honoring a home’s story by turning its history into tangible, livable art. I reclaim the home’s weather materials and painted that patina on custom canvases echoing the past while complementing a refreshed architectural vision. Contemporary lines meet natural wood tones, allowing these pieces to stand out while feeling deeply rooted in place.

The result was more than just beautiful design. These doors became conversation starters—quiet storytellers inviting guests to feel the weight and warmth of the home’s legacy. With every commission, I aim to create that same connection between home, memory, and craft.

My most recent piece, A Look in My Eye, honors former resident and celebrated artist Betty Guy. That work earned my first press feature in SF Gate and has helped solidify my doors as both artistic statements and real estate differentiators—playing a role in more than $6.6 million in home sales to date.
